NBA 2012-13: Los Spurs: 48-14

En la Noche Latina, LOS SPURS derrotaron a los Toros de Chicago por 101-83.

San Antonio estaba 47-52 al término de la primera mitad, pero en la segunda metió un 54-31 y se los llevó puestos a los Bulls.

Manu estuvo muy bien, 18 puntos y 9 asistencias.  Duncan también sumó 18 y los acompañó con 10 rebotes.

Tiago Spitter tuvo 13 y 10, mientras que Patrick Mills tuvo 13 con un 5/6 de cancha incluyendo 3/3 triples.

Leonard sumó 14 y 7 rebotes, y esta vez los rebotes fueron 47-41 para Los Spurs.  54% de cancha, 57% de triple (8 de 14) y si bien arrancó con 5 pérdidas de balón en el primer cuarto, terminó con 12 en todo el partido.

Chicago tuvo un paupérrimo 24 de 70 de dos puntos, 9 de 20 triples y 8 de 8 desde la línea.  Solamente Belinelli, Deng y Teague tuvieron buenos partidos en la ofensiva (sumaron en 20 de sus 41 tiros al aro), mientras que Robinson, Noah y Boozer se combinaron para un 12 de 40 que los hundió por completo en la segunda mitad.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Tim Duncan had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Chicago Bulls 101-83 on Wednesday night in a matchup of teams missing their starting All-Star point guards.

Manu Ginobili added 18 points and nine assists, Tiago Splitter had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Kawhi Leonard scored 14 points for San Antonio (48-14), which was playing its second game without Tony Parker.
Patty Mills provided a needed punch off the Spurs' bench, scoring 10 of his 13 points in the second half.
Parker is expected to miss about four weeks with an ankle sprain and Derrick Rose has yet to play for Chicago this season after undergoing major knee surgery.
Marco Belinelli had 21 points, Luol Deng added 19, Marquis Teague had 11 and Carlos Boozer 10 for Chicago (34-27).
The Bulls led by as many as 14 points before the Spurs rallied behind increased defensive activity. Chicago shot 8 for 31 in the first 18 minutes of the second half.
San Antonio chipped away at the lead in the third quarter, finally taking a 66-65 advantage on Boris Diaw's free throw that completed a three-point play.
Nate Robinson's 3-pointer put the Bulls back ahead, but the Spurs went on a 14-0 run to bridge the third and fourth quarters.
Deng's 3 ended the run, pulling the Bulls within 80-71 with 9:27 left in the game.
San Antonio was able to close out its third straight win at home, outscoring Chicago 54-31 in the second half.

Ante la ausencia de Parker, Manu Ginóbili se lució con nueve asistencias pero además aportó 18 puntos para la victoria 101-83 de San Antonio sobre Chicago. Prigioni también festejó, mientras que Delfino (11) y Scola (6) sufrieron derrotas.

San Antonio, partido a partido, sigue demostrando que es un equipo con todas las letras. Las lesiones fueron poniendo piedras en el camino, pero los Spurs se sobrepusieron a las adversidades y siguen como líderes del Oeste con 48-14. Esta vez, la víctima fue Chicago (34-27). Con un completo Manu Ginóbili, vencieron 101-83 a los Bulls.

Ante la ausencia de Tony Parker, el bahiense se volvió a poner el rol de pasador, y cerró con 18 puntos (7-14 de cancha) y nueve asistencias en 26 minutos. Y entre Tim Duncan, goleador junto a Gino, y el brasileño Thiago Splitter se ocuparon de los rebotes, bajando diez cada uno.
